Last updated: 13 September 2026 — This page is for the Virtex Wallet app (Android and iOS) by VirtexPay. It explains how to request deletion of your Virtex Wallet account and associated data, what we delete, and what we retain. You do not need the app installed or need to sign in to make a request.
Delete your account in the Virtex Wallet app, or email us from the address registered to your account and we will delete your account and associated data.
Or write to [email protected] with the subject "Virtex Wallet Account Deletion Request". Verified requests are processed within 30 days.
Changed your mind? Sign in again within 30 days and choose Restore account. After 30 days the account is permanently closed and can no longer be restored from the app.
If you no longer have the app installed, you can request deletion by email:
You can also use our contact form — choose "Virtex Wallet" and write "Delete my account" in your message.
Records associated with a deleted account — including your account profile, wallet and transaction records, and support correspondence — are retained securely to meet legal, tax, anti-money-laundering, fraud-prevention and security obligations. They are not used for any other purpose, are not used for marketing, and are not shared except where required by law.
Non-custodial wallets have no account for us to delete — your keys and seed phrase exist only on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them from that device, so back up your seed phrase first. Deleting the app or your account does not delete funds on the blockchain; they remain accessible with your seed phrase. Public blockchain records cannot be deleted by anyone.
For custodial wallets, withdraw all funds before requesting deletion.
See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
