Tron is the busiest network for USDT transfers, and every one of them runs on TRX. Virtex Wallet gives you a Tron wallet on Android for TRX and TRC-20 tokens, in the same app as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and BNB Smart Chain.

Use TRX to pay transfer fees, stake it for Energy and rewards, or swap into another coin with quotes compared across third-party providers.

What you can do with TRX

Hold TRX and TRC-20 tokens

Keep TRX and USDT TRC20 side by side. Your Tron address works for both. See the USDT TRC20 wallet page.

Stake for Energy

Staking TRX gives you Energy or Bandwidth, which cuts the cost of sending USDT. Read how to stake TRX.

Swap in and out of TRX

Need TRX for fees or want to rotate out? The app compares quotes and shows the rate, fees and minimum before you confirm.

Two wallet modes

Hold your own keys in non-custodial mode, or let Virtex hold them in custodial mode. Custodial mode is not available in the EEA, the UK or the United States.

Set up your Tron wallet

1

Install Virtex Wallet

Download the app from Google Play and create a new wallet or import an existing recovery phrase.

2

Find your Tron address

Open TRX and tap Receive. Your address starts with T and also receives TRC-20 tokens.

3

Add TRX

Buy TRX in the app, swap into it, or withdraw from an exchange on the TRC20 / Tron network.

4

Stake or send

Keep a little TRX for fees, then send, swap or stake the rest.

Keep TRX unstaked for fees. Unstaking TRX takes 14 days, so leave enough liquid TRX to cover transfers in the meantime. Blockchain transactions can't be reversed. This page is general information, not financial advice.

Tron wallet questions

What is a Tron wallet?

A wallet that holds TRX, the native coin of the Tron blockchain, and tokens built on it such as USDT TRC20. Tron addresses start with the letter T.

Can I store USDT in a Tron wallet?

Yes. USDT on Tron is a TRC-20 token, so it uses the same Tron address as your TRX. Keep some TRX in the wallet to pay fees when you send it.

Can I stake TRX in Virtex Wallet?

Yes. You can stake TRX in non-custodial or custodial mode. Staking gives you Energy or Bandwidth and lets you vote for Super Representatives to earn rewards. Unstaking takes 14 days.

What are Energy and Bandwidth?

They are Tron's network resources. Token transfers use Energy, and every transaction uses Bandwidth. If you don't have enough, the network burns TRX instead to cover the fee.

Is Virtex Wallet free?

The app is free to download on Google Play. You pay blockchain network fees when you send, and swaps show any provider and service fees before you confirm.
